Randall B. Hicks, PsyD, MABC, MABS

Education and Training
Dr. Hicks received his Master of Arts degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Widener University in 2001. Previous to this he also earned a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling (MABC) from Colorado Christian University in 1991, and a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies (MABS) from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1990. Dr. Hicks completed his pre-doctoral internship at Lenape Valley Foundation, a community mental health center, performing psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults. He completed dual post-doctoral internships at Diane Langberg & Associates in Jenkintown, PA in psychotherapy, and at the Council Rock School District in psychological assessment.
Background and Experience
Dr. Hicks has been a therapist in private practice in the greater Philadelphia area since 1991 and is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a clinical psychologist. He has several years of experience teaching at the graduate level in the counseling program at Philadelphia Biblical University. Dr. Hicks is also certified in the state of Pennsylvania as a school psychologist and works in the Council Rock School District. He has experience working in both child and adult residential psychiatric settings and a residential treatment program for sexual addiction.
Special Interests and Services
Dr. Hicks has expertise in individual, group and couples therapy. He has special interests in marital therapy with pastors and their spouses. Dr. Hicks also has experience working with issues of sexual brokenness. As a Christian psychologist, Dr. Hicks views people through the lenses of creation, the fall, and redemption. His counseling model is dynamic and interpersonal focusing on relational patterns that began in the past yet are maintained in the present through self-reinforcing cycles of interacting. Change is insight-oriented in so far as an understanding of the past sheds light on the present promoting a new depth of awareness of responsibility and choice. Contact Randy

Master of Science in Counseling from Cairn University, 1995. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
Background and Experience
Practicing as a mental health counselor since 1995, Marsha’s experience ranges from private practice counseling, counseling in a church setting, to case management for at-risk youth in a high school setting. Marsha has also volunteered as a group facilitator for women who struggle with sexual brokenness. She also helped lead counselor training labs at Cairn. In 2003, she joined with her husband in the establishment of Randall B. Hicks, PsyD and Associates.

Marsha received her Master of Science in Counseling from Cairn University. She has over 20 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, families, couples and groups. She specializes in issues related to sexual trauma/abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, parenting issues, marital infidelity and conflict, domestic violence and coercive abuse in relationships, grief, managing stress, managing chronic pain/illness, spiritual concerns and relationship issues. She also utilizes Prepare Enrich resources for premarital counseling services. Marsha's counseling is insight-oriented and psycho-dynamic, drawing out the individual's story to reveal destructive patterns in relationship that currently prohibit healthy relating.
Additional Information
Additional Information Marsha and Randy have been married since 1996 and have 3 adolescent children. She enjoys speaking to women’s groups about parenting issues, spiritual concerns and general women’s issues. Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary, 2012. Bachelor of Science in Communications Disorders from the University of New Hampshire, 1982. Currently Eileen is working toward state licensure.
Background and Experience
Eileen has over 25 years of professional experience counseling and teaching individuals across the life span. As a Developmental Specialist, Eileen has helped children and their families face the educational and emotional/psychological challenges unique to families raising children with special needs. As a professional mental health counselor, Eileen has experience working in a community counseling center helping men and women find freedom from their particular struggles, past and present. She has led women’s groups that emphasized codependency issues.
Special Interests and Services
Eileen has special interest in a whole person approach to counseling, and invites her clients to explore the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit on an individual’s overall mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. Eileen specializes in the effects of addiction on family members, grief/loss, past and present trauma, parenting, relational discord, abuse issues, and codependency. She seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the individuals she counsels.
Additional Information
Eileen lives in Newtown, PA. She enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two sons, tending to her garden, reading, cooking, and anything outdoors – especially the ocean. Eileen is a member of GracePoint Church, where she is active with the women’s Bible study ministry. Contact Eileen

Background and Experience
Roger joined the counseling staff at Randall B. Hicks and Associates in 2006. He has additional extensive experience as both a Career Management Consultant and a Human Resources Professional. He has also previously served on the adjunct faculty at Philadelphia Biblical University and at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Special Interests and Services
Roger enjoys working with adults and couples. His counseling style is collaborative, relational and insight-oriented. He believes that change occurs in counseling through the development of a safe and authentic relationship where clients feel free to explore their issues and concerns in depth.
